Jenny misses her friends, especially Flo. And she misses her familiar surroundings. It is only when she sees a boy in the corridor whom she likes that she begins to come to terms with her situation. She sets out to find the boy and meets the seriously ill Charles, who already knows the hospital routine far too well. Jenny tells Flo about Charles and learns that she has not been forgotten at school.
