Paris, Montmartre, spring. Suzanne is 16 years old and her peers bore her deeply. On her way to school every day, she passes a theater. There she meets Raphaël, a 35-year-old actor, and they become increasingly fascinated with each other. They float through the neighborhood, dancing in love through the streets. But then Suzanne becomes afraid that she is missing something in life - the normal life of a girl her age. The first directorial effort of Suzanne Lindon, only 20 years old, who also wrote the screenplay and took the female lead alongside Arnaud Valois (120 BPM), is more than a minor sensation. SPRING IN PARIS (original title SEIZE PRINTEMPS) was among the official selection of 56 films that would have been shown in the program of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival, and was selected as one of 50 films for the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival.
