Paris, summer 2018: Jacqueline Jencquel (74) lives a comfortable life in a beautiful apartment in Saint-Germain. Apart from a few age-related ailments, she is in good health. And yet Jackie has decided to die. As a mother, grandmother and committed right-to-die activist, she triggers a media frenzy with her decision, announcing that she will end her life in January 2020. As the clock ticks, she stands in front of the camera of one of her three sons. Taboos are broken in an honest and emotional exchange about death, love, longing and motherhood. Although Jackie is determined to carry on, she postpones the final act. To enjoy one last spring, one last summer. When Jackie learns of the impending birth of a grandchild, she begins to hesitate and postpones the "date" once again. Jackie's son Tuki takes advantage of this reprieve and records a series of increasingly meaningful encounters with his mother as he struggles to accept her decision and learn to let go.
